Larsen Architecture Announces New Designer Studio Event in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter

Following the success of their inaugural event in November 2025, Larsen Architecture has announced the return of its Designer Studio, taking place on 29 and 30 April at the acclaimed Hope Street Hotel in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter.

Founded by local Chartered Architect and Registered Interior Designer Ryan Wenham and Organisational Psychologist and Careers Coach Marc Prats, the Designer Studio brings together architects and designers from across the UK for a two-day, in-person experience focused on business growth, creative clarity and meaningful industry connection.

The first Designer Studio welcomed a cohort of creative professionals from throughout England and Wales for an immersive programme combining practical workshops, mentorship and collaborative learning. Feedback from attendees highlighted the value of creating a supportive space where creative professionals could openly share challenges, refine their positioning and build more sustainable, commercially successful practices.

Building on that momentum, the April event will offer an expanded and elevated experience in one of Liverpool’s most iconic venues. Set within the heart of the city’s cultural quarter, Hope Street Hotel provides a calm and luxurious backdrop designed to reflect the ambition and calibre of the designers attending. Across the two days, participants will take part in structured sessions covering studio growth, marketing and PR, client management, leadership and communication. The programme is designed to deliver practical, high-value insights that attendees can implement immediately within their own practices.

A key component of the experience is Insights Discovery coaching, delivered by Marc Prats. Prats, who most recently spoke at TEDx Wigan, will help attendees gain a deeper understanding of how they communicate, collaborate and position themselves, equipping them with tools to build stronger client relationships and more effective businesses.

In addition to benefitting from the expertise of Larsen Architecture’s leadership team, participants will also connect with creative collaborators including photographer Nick Malone and public relations specialists Sycamore Communications, offering a well-rounded perspective that bridges both creative and commercial success.

The Designer Studio forms part of Larsen Architecture’s wider Designer Business Programme, which supports architects and interior designers in navigating the gap between formal education and the realities of running a business. The programme focuses on helping designers attract high-value clients, increase fees and build practices that align with both their creative ambitions and desired lifestyle.

Ryan Wenham said:

“The response to our first Designer Studio exceeded all expectations. It confirmed there is a real appetite for honest, practical support within the design industry. This next event is about building on that foundation and creating an even more impactful experience for the designers joining us.”

The two-day event will run from 10am to 5pm on both days, with breakfast and lunch provided. The experience provides 14 hours of structured CPD, suitable for architects and designers looking to invest in their professional development while gaining a competitive edge in an increasingly demanding market.

Located within walking distance of Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool Central stations, the venue is easily accessible for attendees travelling from across the UK. However, remaining places are extremely limited. For more information, visit Larsen Architecture online.
