17 March 2026 – Global Architectural and Engineering design firm HDR has appointed Sébastien Doucet as Aerospace Sector Director within its Building Engineering Services Business Group.
Sébastien joined HDR in January 2024 as Regional Aerospace Sector Leader for North America, where he helped to launch and establish this exciting new HDR practice. Based in Seattle, WA, he will now be responsible for leading the strategic development of the organisation’s aerospace division across its global footprint. With extensive experience in the aerospace industry, Sébastien will focus on strengthening client service, identifying emerging opportunities, and aligning HDR’s global technical expertise to support complex aerospace programs.
HDR is currently delivering a significant portfolio of space, aviation, and defence projects worldwide, with work underway across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. HDR provides integrated design services, commissioning, and construction management spanning infrastructure, launch, space & mission operations, R&D laboratories, manufacturing facilities, defence and secure installations, sustainability and decarbonisation strategies, and program delivery.
