The Wavin Certaro Lamella Hydrodynamic Separator is a compact, high-performance sediment separator, designed to effectively treat surface water runoff before it reaches the downstream environment.
Treating areas of up to and above 6000m², Certaro Lamella HDS operates with an efficiency of 80% retention of total suspended solids using a combination of hydrodynamic separation and lamella settling technology.
Engineered to effectively remove both coarse and fine sediments, the Certaro Lamella HDS is the ideal addition to attenuation systems in areas such as roads, car parks, and industrial or commercial sites. It captures and retains pollutants including heavymetals such as zinc, copper, and lead, along with PAH’s, microplastics, and hydrocarbons, significantly reducing their environmental impact.
Ongoing maintenance is simplified with cleaning carried out in the same way as a road gully, helping to reduce long-term operating costs.
The modular design of Certaro Lamella HDS allows bespoke configuration, supporting custom invert levels, variable sludge sump volumes, and optional bypass arrangements. This design flexibility enables system tailoring to suit rainfall intensities, infrastructure layouts, and adaptation to local climate conditions, ensuring reliable results on every installation.
