Forma metal column casings are a key product in our extensive Verta column casings range, and as they are manufactured from metal, they offer a highly versatile solution for concealing interior and exterior structural steelwork, while also providing a stylish and durable finish to each project.
Bespoke manufactured from aluminium or stainless steel, Forma casings are available in thicknesses from 1.5mm to 3mm, depending on the profile and material selected. Due to their inherent weather resistance and durability, Forma casings are ideally suited for use in both interior and exterior applications.
Using precision bending techniques, most Forma casings are produced and shaped to meet the dimensions and specifications of each individual project. They can also be specified in a selected range of standard diameters from 250mm to 1000mm, as well as square, rectangular or hexagonal forms and unique custom profiles.
The choice of finishes is also very wide. In addition to PPC coating options, in BS and RAL colours, various brushed, anodised, embossed and textured finishes, including Rimex, can also be specified. Single Forma casings can be used on projects with heights of up to 3000mm, while multiple Forma casings can be stacked to reach extended heights.
Forma column casings allows architects, specifiers and contractors the complete freedom to explore design possibilities by providing a range of options while also enabling complete control to be maintained over the selection of materials, specifications, forms and finishes.
The high degree of versatility offered by Forma has already been put to use on a range of prestigious interior and exterior projects, which include Porsche West London, Birmingham Dental Hospital and Tetrosyl’s head office reception in Rotherham, as well as Winchester College.
