TTA Awards are all about celebrating success in the tiling industry. This year’s Awards took place in May at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole and were hosted by BBC presenter Mike Bushell. In the project categories, the Best Commercial Project (Small) was won by W.B. Simpson & Sons Ltd for their work at Babmaes Street, London. This was an office refurbishment, where the company completed the installation of grey resin terrazzo to the main reception and ground floor staircase, finished beautifully with faceted risers and bronze studs to all treads. The company also carried out the tiling to all WCs, showers and changing rooms. The results of this project are stunning, with the offices being transformed with the elegance and glamor that would be expected of a building in the heart of London.
There was also a trophy for Highly Commended in this category, which was won by Schlüter Systems Ltd for East Quay, Watchet, Somerset.
