The team behind Ali-deck, the quick-fit, non-combustible aluminium decking system, have confirmed they will be showcasing their ground-breaking solution at this year’s London Build Expo.
Taking place at the Olympia in London across the 27th and 28th of November, London Build is one of the country’s leading construction and design shows. Attended by over 25,000 industry professionals, the two-day event brings together over 350 exhibitors and more than 500 speakers from across the industry.
The Ali-deck team will be presenting their full range of non-combustible decking systems from Stand T32.
Mark Wood, Founder of Ali-deck comments: “We’re really excited to be showcasing the full Ali-deck range at the upcoming London Build Expo. Since bringing Ali-deck to market earlier this year, we’ve seen incredible demand for the range across both trade and commercial sectors.
“Whilst the system has proven popular as a high-end option for home improvement and renovation projects, the biggest market has been as a safe and effective replacement for composite decking in high-rise balconies, rooftops and other commercial settings. As the industry and central government aims to raise standards post-Grenfell, solutions like Ali-deck will continue to play a vital role.
“We look forward to highlighting this valuable opportunity, along with the significant time and cost saving offered by Ali-deck at London Build. Our team will be on-hand to answer any questions with product examples for visitors to come and explore.”
On display at London Build will be deck boards for both steel and concrete balconies. These lightweight, aluminium deck boards offer a high load-bearing capacity and require less supporting steel work. This not only significantly reduces costs but shortens installation time. Whilst Ali-deck’s aluminium construction makes it naturally fire-resistant and non-combustible, the decking boards also carry Class A2-s1 and d0 fire ratings.
The team’s appearance at London Build continues a busy year for Ali-deck and parent company the Milwood Group. In addition to introducing new dedicated Ali-deck staff, the firm has also moved to a brand-new HQ with dedicated stockholding facilities for their decking systems. In recent months, the team has also secured multiple lucrative projects with the likes of Bellway Homes and St. George PLC.
Ali-deck is part of the Milwood Group, the Kent-based outdoor living specialists. Working with a nationwide network of trade partners, Milwood Group manufactures and supplies a full range of premium aluminium verandas, canopies, carports and pergolas.
