Keller – the first kitchen manufacturer in the world at Level 4 on CSR Performance Ladder

Keller Kitchens is well known for the pioneering approach to sustainability and eco-consciousness which permeates every part of the business.

The Netherlands-based company boasts one of the largest kitchen factories in Europe with a surface area of 65,000 m². Recently, several major investments have been made into the production facility so that the group optimises today’s technology, raises productivity, and remains at the forefront of the industry in terms of sustainability initiatives.

Another step in the company’s eco-journey sees Keller granted a three-year extension of Level 4 on the CSR Performance Ladder.

The CSR Performance Ladder is unique; there is no other standard with CSR in a management system. The CSR Performance Ladder makes it possible to develop CSR themes continuously through a management system and in consultation with the stakeholders. Tim Spann, Keller’s UK National Sales Manager, explains,

“In this way, it is possible to do business sustainably with the right balance between People, Planet and Profit. It’s a great achievement.”

The CSR Performance Ladder is inspired by internationally accepted documents, such as the ISO 26000, the ISO 9001:2015, AA1000 and the Global Report Initiative (GRI).
