One of their most recent successes include an 80 bed care home in Scotland. This project required a particular focus, on request of the client, to draw the history of the local area into the overall design of the home. Alison said, “When designing the corridors, for example, we researched the local streets of historical interest and created corridors based around these themes. This aids way finding which is proven to help residents with dementia navigate their way around the home. In this instance we wanted a balance between a contemporary but homely feel to the home which was paramount throughout the design process.”
Fundamental to Interior by New Dawn’s vision is the residents experience. This is truly at the heart of all their designs.
