Chris has been with the practice for 15 years and worked on major developments for clients including Crest Nicholson, British Land, Forest Holidays, Dukelease, McArthurGlen and U+I. Alongside a significant contribution to managing the London studio, Chris has supervised the practice’s migration to BIM.
Chris has experience of delivering complex and challenging briefs for clients in the residential, retail and leisure sectors. These include the 300,000 sq ft McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Cannock, the holiday cabin concept for Forest Holidays – an enduring design recognised by millions – as well as the technical delivery of a standardised apartment and house types framework for Crest Nicholson, which will be rolled out by the developer across the UK over the next two years.
Peter Gamble, senior partner at Holder Mathias, said:
“Chris’s experience and skills are a natural fit for the Partnership. He understands and upholds our philosophy and is always client-focused in his delivery. He has led a number of significant projects with care and attention to detail, and his promotion will further strengthen our service offer and consolidate our reputation.”
Chris will continue to design and deliver schemes for clients and will also look to build on the practice’s residential project portfolio.
His promotion now takes the Holder Mathias partnership to seven partners across the studios in London and Cardiff.
Chris added:
“Over the last 15 years I have had the opportunity to work on some of the practice’s most significant and exciting projects, forming strong relationships with clients and consultants. I look forward to taking on the responsibility of this new role, driving new business for the practice and continuing to deliver quality projects for our clients and their customers.”
