Häfele, manufacturer and distributor of fixtures, fittings, architectural hardware and access control to the specification space, is relaunching two of its CPDs following reaccreditation from RIBA.
Currently in the process of refreshing its CPDs, Häfele’s modules on ‘Defining Electronic Access Controls’ and ‘Specifying Door Ironmongery’ are now available for delivery having been reapproved by RIBA.
The ‘Defining Electronic Access Controls’ CPD session explores the history of access control systems, the elements that make up modern-day systems and how to correctly specify them. Those taking part will also gain a greater understanding of the elements that make up such systems, and the considerations for different applications including hotels, office spaces and high-rise builds.
The ‘Specifying Door Ironmongery’ CPD examines the hardware solutions used to manually operate, lock, close and protect doors on projects, and explores relevant legislation and regulations surrounding door hardware, providing real-world examples of common specification requirements.
All Häfele CPDs are designed to help those working in the specification space to apply best practice when it comes to the key fixtures and fittings that make up the buildings that millions of us use every day.
Häfele’s CPDs are available upon request for in-person delivery, as well as virtual sessions taking place over Microsoft Teams. Contact the team at estimating(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)hafele.co.uk to organise a session.
