Eva Aetopoulou promoted to Associate Architect at MoreySmith

Design and architectural practice MoreySmith has announced the promotion of Eva Aetopoulou to associate architect.

Aetopoulou joined London-based MoreySmith in April 2020 as a project architect and has contributed significantly to projects across the UK, including flexible workspaces for Clockwise in Manchester and the refurbishment of 45 Pall Mall for JP Morgan.

Prior to joining MoreySmith, Aetopoulou studied architecture in Greece and France, before graduating with a distinction in her master’s degree in Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins.

Aetopoulou has over seven years of experience in delivering high-end hospitality and workplace projects, as well as residential projects for private clients.

MoreySmith was founded in 1993 by principal director, Linda Morey-Burrows. Delivering workplace, hospitality and residential projects for clients across the UK and Europe, the studio has a well-established reputation for refurbishing heritage buildings and creating design-led spaces to support wellbeing.

Over the next six months, she will be delivering projects for the returning workforce, including the completion of JP Morgan’s HQ at 45 Pall Mall, with new building amenities, a roof terrace and alterations to the facade.

In her new role, Aetopoulou will be leading new projects for the studio as it continues to strengthen its portfolio of residential and workplace projects.

Linda Morey-Burrows, founder and principal director at MoreySmith, said:

“Eva has developed into an accomplished architect, taking a key role in many of our most significant refurbishment projects over the last two years.

“Her background in delivering high-end hospitality and workplaces is the perfect fit for MoreySmith’s portfolio of projects and the team has loved working closely with Eva. We are proud to announce her promotion to Associate Architect and I look forward to seeing her continue her successful career with us in the years ahead.”

Eva Aetopoulou, now associate architect at MoreySmith, said:

“Since joining the studio, I have worked closely with the team to deliver a range of innovative projects and I am looking forward to seeing the major refurbishment project at Pall Mall through to completion early next year.

“I am proud to work with such an esteemed team of architects and designers that put people’s wellbeing and sustainability at the forefront of every project.”
