Design for kitchen perfection

Integrated Fisher & Paykel Column Refrigeration hides seamlessly within the cabinetry of this townhouse kitchen. To get this seamless finish, architectural practice Tom Mark Henry had to marry their vision with a level of technical detail to ensure minimum gaps, breakline alignments and flush detailing. Fisher & Paykel’s technical content allowed them to get to that level of detail.

Developed with leading global BIM-focused architecture practices to ensure the files are optimised and specifically developed for the trade, Fisher & Paykel has taken a humancentred approach to their technical content, in line with their intention to be the world’s most human-centred appliance brand. That means deeply understanding how architects, kitchen designers and cabinetmakers work, what information they are looking for at various stages in the design and build process, and then delivering the information that makes their work easier and faster.

This has resulted in Fisher & Paykel’s largest ever delivery of new and updated purpose-built technical content:

  • 3D files for Revit, ArchiCAD, Sketchup and Rhino
  • 2D CAD in dxf and dwg
  • Specification Guides
  • Datasheets
  • Planning Guides

With high resolution models for real time rendering and parametric design in BIM as well as detailed Data Sheets, and Planning Guides which include Hinge Articulation Details and Panel Preparation Guides, Fisher & Paykel gives designers true design freedom.
