netMAGmedia is looking forward to hosting a live industry round table at the Building Centre, London on 24 May. This event will give key insights into how the construction sector is tackling recent changes to Building Regulations, and looking beyond it to further challenges from the Future Homes Standard.
Aligned with netMAGmedia publications Architects’ Datafile and Housebuilder & Developer, the event brings together leading lights from housebuilding, architecture and the manufacturing sector to delve into the issues in depth. The event, titled Solutions for Compliance, is focused on the new build residential market, and is sponsored by Schock, ID Systems and Recticel, all of whom will participate in the discussion. Housebuilders at the table range from major to SME: Lendlease, Bewley Homes, Cameron Homes and Carr & Carr Builders, and architects present including leading practice Hawkins\Brown.
The round table brings a unique grouping together to share experience and knowledge on meeting the new performance demands of the 2022 Building Regulations updates to Parts L and F, and the new Part O on overheating. It will also use recent relevant netMAGmedia research white papers to explore how the industry can work together, to achieve the jump in emissions reductions required by the 2025 Future Homes Standard.
