The climate and cost of living crisis means we are all looking to become more energy efficient, with eco- and cost-conscious homeowners increasingly looking for ways to help safeguard against future price volatility and dependence on the grid.
Whilst The launch of Part L of the Building Regulations in June 2023 means all new homes will have to be constructed to produce 31% lower carbon emissions – putting more pressure on specifiers to put energy efficiency at the heart of their projects. It’s the right thing to do as we strive towards net zero, and now it’s enshrined in regulation.
NEW – M10 Marley SolarTile®
With the launch of our Marley SolarTile® system in 2019, we wanted to support the Architects, Housebuilders, Social Housing Providers and Landlords by providing a solar panel system that was designed to perform as an energy generating solution, whilst offering stunning aesthetics and weatherproofing performance as an integral part of the fabric of the roof.
The only solar panel on the market made specifically for roof installation, without the need for added tray systems or bolt on brackets.
Power up with fewer panels
And now, to further support the availability of sustainable roofing solutions, we have expanded our SolarTile® range with the launch of a new panel to provide a bigger, quicker to install, and more powerful panel that breaks the 400Wp barrier.
The new M10 Solar PV Panel solution is designed to increase total power from a roof area or allow for the installation of fewer solar panels to achieve the target system size.
Compatible with all tiles, slates and shingles

Last year was a record for solar energy in the UK with the 14.3 GW of installed solar capacity enough to power 1.8 million homes across the UK or 49% of London’s 3.7 million dwellings – half of the capital city – for a full day.
Power up with fewer panels
The new Marley EV Charger is now also available from Marley. With solar panel compatibility, homeowners can harness the energy generated through their solar panels, to put miles into their electric vehicles.
Introducing the Marley EV Charging unit into our product range is the next stepping stone to providing a wider package of renewable solutions for UK homes, whilst also supporting the industry as updated Part S Building Regulations – coming into force from June this year, state that all new build housing with off-street parking, must include an EV charging point.
