The Automatic Door Suppliers Association (ADSA) highlights the critical role of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) for raising industry standards in the latest episode of its Tech Talk podcast.

The Building Safety Act, which came into force in October last year, requires regular safety checks and designates accountable persons to oversee the development and maintenance of high-risk buildings. This regulatory shift has resulted in NVQs becoming an effective method of certification for technicians to a obtain a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
The podcast discussion outlines how NVQs validate practical skills and knowledge through work-based practical assessment, ensuring technicians are fully equipped to meet evolving safety and compliance standards.
