YA Interiors has been shortlisted in the Visualisation (3D renderings) category of this year’s SBID International Design Awards. Their family drawing room project has been selected as one of the qualifying projects by a technical panel of judges in the first stage of the process. The client, a young couple with 2 infant children required a luxurious and practical family home, their double fronted property is located in Garstang rural Lancashire.
The drawing room brief was to encompass a luxurious setting of a Mayfair drawing room that is both flexible as well as a relaxed family room. The key to the success of this room was the coffered mirrored ceiling, the panelled boiserie with venetian plaster finished walls, as well as the custom designed furniture. A nod to the Hollywood Regency in the multifaceted fixtures, fittings and styling the room evokes a feeling of a future classic.
The public are now invited to cast their votes for their favourite entries at www.sbidawards.com, as their votes will be counted towards the overall results. SBID has firmly established this annual occasion as one of the most prestigious
