World Architecture News has announced the eighth edition of the WAN Healthcare Awards is now open for entries.
The awards recognise healthcare facilities that improve patient outcomes, engage visitors and enhance staff productivity.
To qualify, projects should have been completed on or after 01 January 2013 and can feature clinical spaces that deliver value in quality, cost, efficiency and aesthetics – whether a hospital, hospice, clinic or care home.
The jury, which will be revealed on 30 March, will be made up of international experts with expansive knowledge of, and extensive experience in this sector.
Projects will be assessed on a number of factors to get to the short list including: originality, innovation, form, function, sustainability and context.
The shortlisted projects will then tested on whether they have overcome key challenges in the brief and/or has pushed the boundaries for this building type.
Entries can be submitted until the 30 April deadline but only projects entered before 25 March will be included in the WAN Healthcare Focus Newsletter shared with architects, developers and consultants across the globe.
