Hospital Innovations 25 & 26 April 2017, London.
Taking place over two days at London’s Olympia, 25 & 26 April, the event promises to give visitors and delegates a unique experience.
The Organisers are working with some of the countries leading NHS Trusts and organisations to provide a programme of interactive workshops and CPD sessions.
Steve Webb, Director of the event, commented; ‘following the news that Lord Carter will give the opening keynote on the first morning we have now also confirmed Bernard Quinn, Programme Director – Improvement at NHS Improvement, who are responsible for all NHS Trusts and foundation trusts providing the support that these organisation need to improve patient care and their financial performance.
NHS Improvement have recently launched a specific Digital Outpatients programme – a nationwide drive to digitise outpatient services, covering areas such as checking test results to remote speech and language therapy. As well as helping patients’ access services more quickly it has the scope to save the NHS up to £2.9 billion.

So how does Hospital Innovations differ from other events?
Steve Webb said; ‘we aim to send visitors and delegates away with solutions and answers. Too many events are just ‘talking shops’ we want an event that offers interactive workshops, exhibitors with real solutions, innovation and interesting examples of working within the healthcare sector.
The conference is ‘free’ to attend for our first 100 NHS and private hospital personnel to attend. Teams from NHS Trusts will be able to attend individual workshops, CPD sessions and half day conference presentations while those that want to make the most of the event and book for both days can, completely free. Healthcare Estates, 10 & 11 October 2017, Manchester
Healthcare Estates will offer visitors, delegates and exhibitors and new appointment making facility so visitors and delegates can plan their appointments in advance.
Commercial Director, James Lee, said ‘this is a great initiative as many of our exhibitors can now plan a number of appointments each day thereby guaranteeing a good level of interest at the event. Many events rely on the visitor to find the product they are looking for once they get to the event. We at Step Exhibitions are ensuring those working in the NHS who often need to justify time away from work can pre-arrange meetings with key suppliers ensuring they get maximum return on their time in Manchester’.
Lee continued; ‘with so much content on offer, visitors and delegates are often faced with an overwhelming amount of information when they arrive on site and finding an exhibitor or ensuring they get the most out of their time at the event can prove daunting. Our system is easy to use, lets the visitor and exhibitor take control over their own timescales and opens a dialogue before arriving on site.
With over 200 exhibiting companies the event offers an array of products, innovations and solutions to anyone working or running estates, engineering, facilities or related areas in the healthcare sector’.
Step Exhibitions also organise Design in Mental Health the UK’s only event to focus on the design and delivery of mental health facilities as therapeutic environments.
The event consists of the Design in Mental Health Network’s annual conference, awards dinner and an exhibition that showcases the latest product innovations designed to enhance mental health environments.
