Turley is to act as planning consultant in delivering Camden Council’s high-profile regeneration of Somers Town, near St Pancras, London.
Turley will provide planning advice to architects DSDHA, who are managing the development of a Masterplan for the area, as well as managing the planning submissions for the wider redevelopment of the area.
The Somers Town transformation will provide a new Edith Neville Primary school, a ‘community hub’, private and affordable housing, extensive public realm and improved permeability within the area.
The project is part of Camden’s Community Investment Programme (CIP), which is a 15 year plan to invest money in schools, homes and community facilities.
Anna Snow, Turley Associate Director, is leading the planning input.
“We are excited to have this opportunity to work alongside local residents, Camden Council and a collection of fantastic architectural practises in order to progress and deliver a high quality regeneration scheme for the heart of Somers Town.”
