kbbreview Awards design finalists to receive honorary membership to SBID

Keeping with tradition, finalists nominated within the six design categories of the prestigious kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2017 will be awarded a 12 month honorary membership to the Society of British and International Design (SBID).

The one year membership to SBID, worth more than £400, is to be granted to all finalists in the kitchen and bathroom design categories of the national awards organised by kbbreview, the UK’s leading business-to-business magazine for the kitchen and bathroom industry.

SBID is the leading accreditation organisation for the interior design industry in the UK. As an honorary member, the design finalists of the kbbreview awards will not only benefit from international certification from this standard-bearer organisation, but also receive priceless business mentoring and unrivalled networking opportunities.

Tim Wallace, Editor of the kbbreview magazine, says:

“All of our design finalists of the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards are nominated on their demonstration of the highest quality designs. We are delighted to team up with the Society of British and International Design to once again acknowledge the achievements of each and every design finalist. With SBID representing the highest calibre of the interior design industry, the benefits of a year’s honorary membership are vast to the finalists. We wish all design finalists every success in exploring the many new opportunities which will be available to them.”

Dr Vanessa Brady, OBE, President of SBID, says:

“Thanks to the Retail & Design Awards, kbbreview has been continuously raising the standards in kitchen and bathroom design. Finalists of the kbbreview Awards are some of the most talented designers in the industry, and are therefore a perfect match for SBID membership. We recognise that design talent coupled with the qualified level of our membership is a hugely valuable extension to interior design and specifically the KBB sector. Great design generates sales, which in turn increases market share.”
