Why does brickwork lose its lustre over time? Wet weather, air pollution and efflorescence can all have a damaging impact on brickwork and a building’s visual appearance, compromising the aesthetic and the architect’s design vision. How can these effects be prevented?
A new webinar entitled “How to avoid brick stains and efflorescence?”, aims to demonstrate to architects and specifiers how the appearance of brickwork can be protected without costly cleaning and maintenance regimes. The webinar, the third of the ‘Vandersanden Inspiration Series’, will examine how and when brickwork damage occurs and the steps that can be taken to prevent it.
This webinar will be hosted by Mathew Davies, Vandersanden UK’s National Specification Manager and starts on Wednesday 9th September and continues throughout the month. To register, click this link: https://my.demio.com/ref/eZbF7yAIJbrXiDvw
“Architects are dedicated to creating beautiful buildings that will stand the test of time,” comments Darren White, Sales Director at Vandersanden UK. “Why should climate and environmental conditions damage their aesthetic within a five-year period or less? It’s entirely avoidable. This webinar will go into detail on the problem and explain precisely what can be done about it at building design stage.”
‘The Vandersanden Inspiration Series’ is a programme of free-to attend webinars for architects and specifiers. The series has been running every Wednesday at 2pm with a different theme being covered each month.
Vandersanden produces a vast array of high-quality bricks in different finishes and colours, ranging from contemporary grey, whites and blacks to more traditional reds, buffs and browns that will inspire and enable the design and construction of beautiful buildings.
