HR Prof treated substrates have been tested and passed, the rigorous NT 053 / NT 054 external use weathering tests, where fire retardant treated wood is exposed to 1000hr accelerated weathering by cycles of rain, drying, and UV light, before fire testing, according to the cone calorimeter. In the interests of Fire Safety, we believe that external weathering testing should be compulsory for all external use fire retardants in the UK. Before choosing an external Fire Retardant we would strongly advise customers to ensure that products claiming to work in an external environment have been tested to confirm the fact; for further information visit www.fireretardantuk.com or email sales(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)fireretardantuk.com .
