Fire engineering experts from Fire Design Solutions and sister company FDS Consult are offering architects, M&E consultants, developers and contractors the chance to extend their education for free this March.
The next session in their popular CPD series will focus on smoke venting and the advantages of fire engineering design for projects and fire safety systems such as smoke ventilation and sprinkler systems within the commercial, residential and mixed use sectors.
The seminar, held at the Building Centre, in London, on Wednesday 26th March, will also feature a presentation on the RRO (Regulatory Reform Order), fire risk assessment and management strategy, hosted by Michel Wizenberg, Managing Director at FDS Consult.
“By informing industry professionals about the principals and benefits of fire engineering, we hope to enable them to incorporate these factors into their designs and building methods, removing the need to make costly last-minute changes in order to meet regulations.
“By including information on the requirement for the ongoing maintenance of fire safety systems and ongoing implementation of fire management plans by responsible parties, the seminar also shows that safety considerations shouldn’t fall by the wayside once construction work is complete.”
Michel will be joined by fellow speaker and colleague, Senior Fire Engineer Jigar Pandya.
