Assael Architecture makes key promotion

Leading architectural practice, Assael Architecture, has made a significant promotion within its senior team. Pete Ladhams has been promoted to Director.

Pete’s expertise lies in designing complicated mixed-use schemes in urban areas. He has worked on a number of significant projects since joining Assael in 2001, including the Great West Quarter Tower for Barratt West London, which comprises 100 serviced apartments, 78 residential apartments and a public viewing gallery/ restaurant, with panoramic views over West London.

He has, more recently, gained consent to redevelop Young Street car park, a luxury residential development in Kensington, which has been designed primarily as a build-to-rent development providing long term private rented properties. Pete is also overseeing the delivery of Macaulay Walk, which involves the remodelling of existing buildings, using contemporary design to create 98 residential units and 30,000 sq ft of commercial floor space.

John Assael, Chairman at Assael Architecture commented:

“Pete’s contribution to the practice has been invaluable and his promotion will further strengthen and inspire the team at Assael. He’s a valuable member and his promotion is well-deserved as we continue to develop the practice.”
