Vision 2017 is the UK’s premier built environment event, with technology and innovation at its core.
Aimed at architects, designers, specifiers and their clients, the event provides an international focus for innovative products and building solutions, bringing some of the best designs and leading figures together from across Western Europe. This year’s programme and exhibition is centred around three main themes: Materials Innovations, Technological Insight and Architectural & Design Evolution. Under these umbrella topics a host of talks and events will take place, helping delegates rethink the built environment and the manner in which we can shape places and spaces. The free-to-attend exhibition will take place at Olympia from 6-7 June 2017, featuring established companies alongside the brightest start-ups.
The exhibitors at Vision cover a range of products, materials and building solutions, including research and development into the latest software, bringing together industry leaders to discuss challenges in today’s complex market and ways to deal with changing legislation. Partnering with key professional, commercial and cultural organisations – such as RIBA, BRE, the London Festival of Architecture, New London Architecture, the Museum of Architecture and designjunction – Vision 2017 is designed to educate and inspire, with international solutions to local problems. A world-class seminar programme will be carefully curated to present big ideas and create a forum made up of top experts from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines.
In 2017, Vision will host a series of international partners from across Europe. Representatives from Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Latvia and the Czech Republic will exhibit at the event through a collection of pavilions, each representing a different member state. Live demonstrations and networking will provide opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with our continental counterparts.
Now in its third year, Vision has grown substantially and secured its position as the hub for key figures spanning the profession, offering a comprehensive view of what’s available across the market. For 2017, the event has undergone a visual identity rebrand and has a new team with over 40 years of event experience under their belts. The new brand by TM Studio has been carefully designed to reflect clarity and the contemporary aesthetic of today’s international built environment network. It articulates Vision’s dedication to explore new ideas and communicate them to an informed audience.
