Medical Architecture strengthen leadership team

Medical Architecture has bolstered its leadership by promoting four senior staff. All have exceptional qualifications and experience as RIBA Chartered Architects. Lianne Knotts and Ruairi Reeves are now shareholding directors. Mark Nugent and Frank Ellis are now associates. They will work alongside fellow directors Christopher Shaw, Bob Wills and Paul Yeomans as the company leadership team.

Lianne Knotts is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and joined the company in 2007. Lianne has a particular interest in mental health design. She is a consultant on projects in North America and has been instrumental in building successful relationships with NHS and construction clients in Scotland where she is currently engaged on design and planning pioneering CAMHS and forensic hospital projects.

Ruairi Reeves is based in London and joined the company in 2002. Ruairi has an excellent understanding of design procedures that underpin high quality healthcare environments. He has successfully delivered major projects in the UK, Europe and Australia. He is currently leading NHS acute and mental health frameworks projects with a combined value in excess of £75m.

Frank Ellis is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and joined the company in 2007. Frank has excellent technical and healthcare project delivery skills. He continues to develop great relationships with clients, consultants and contractors alike. Frank will play a leading role in day to day management of studio teams and will drive new company initiatives.

Mark Nugent is based in London and joined the company in 2007. Mark has a thorough knowledge of the NHS, its structures, compliance standards, processes and ethos. This insight means he collaborates effectively with hospital management and clinical stakeholders to develop efficient and sustainable facilities which deliver long term value.
